Nose Filling

Nasal filling is an aesthetic application performed by using Hyaluronic acid, the filling material used in different parts of our face, in the nose area. The application principles of nasal filling are the same as the facial filling applications performed in other parts of our face. The main reason for applying the filling material to the nose area is that an appearance in which aesthetic problems are reduced or eliminated without the need for a surgical intervention can be obtained.

Is Nose Filling Permanent?

Although the permanence of the nasal filler varies depending on the area, amount and whether it has been applied to that area before, it can last for an average of 12 to 18 months.

If we need to specify the procedures that can be done with nasal filling in general;

    • Nasal curvatures can be eliminated or the problem can be alleviated
    • Elimination of postoperative problems
    • Correction of the asymmetric appearance of the nose, lifting the tip of the nose
    • Flattening the back of the nose, correcting the area between the nose and forehead
    • The area between the nose and lips can be clarified
    • It can be stated as the elimination of the notching problem of the wing of the nose.

It is possible to eliminate the above-mentioned problems without surgery with filling applications to the nose. However, it is not possible to correct the functions that the nose has difficulty in fulfilling with nasal fillers.

Before the filling application, local anaesthetic cream is applied to the application areas to minimise the pain to be felt by the person to be treated. You can continue your daily life after the application. A slight swelling or bruising may be observed in the application areas, these are temporary conditions. It is important to note that the filling application should be performed by a specialist doctor in terms of both the success of the application and the prevention of unwanted side effects.
